Today we’re announcing a $40 million Series B. The round is led by Harbourline Ventures, with participation from our existing investors. It brings the total we’ve raised to $58 million.

I want to use this post to explain what the money is for, and just as importantly, what won’t change.

Where we are

When Theo and I started Flow three years ago, we had a simple belief: most operations work is a process someone could write down, and a process you can write down is a process software should run. The hard part had always been the steps in the middle, where a person reads something and decides what to do. Agents finally made those steps automatable.

Today more than 2,400 teams run Flow in production. Our agents run 48 million steps a month, across finance, revenue, support and IT. The average customer goes from sign-up to their first live workflow in six days.

What the money is for

We’re investing in three areas.

Agents that operations teams can trust. That means better policies, clearer reasoning in the run log and more control over what agents can and can’t do. Trust is the product. Everything else is plumbing.

More of the tools teams use. We’ll double our connector library over the next year, with a focus on finance and HR systems, where customers ask most.

Customers outside the US. We’re opening a hub in Lisbon and adding EU data residency for every plan, not only Enterprise.

What isn’t changing

We will keep a free plan that is genuinely useful. We will keep pricing by runs, not seats, so the whole team can use Flow without a procurement process. And we will never train models on customer data.

We will also keep reading runs. Every person at Flow, me included, reviews real customer runs every week. It is the most useful hour of my week and the source of most of our roadmap.

Thank you

To our customers: thank you for trusting us with work that matters to your business, and for telling us when we get it wrong. To the team: this round belongs to you.

We’re hiring across engineering, design, customer success and sales. If any of this sounds like work you’d enjoy, I’d love to hear from you.
